Following the SON with a little Fun in the SUN . . .

Greeting blog friends!

Wednesday is here again and do you know what that means?
Yes, $5 buck night at MOE'S! So, come and join our mid-week fellowship at MOE'S in the Eastern Shore Plaza. We will be grabbing some delicious burritos, hanging-out, and catching up on each others lives starting at around 6pm. Look forward to seeing you all there!

It also means that the weekend fun is just around the bend. And speaking of "weekend fun", Lighthouse went all out this past weekend. We had a tremendous time in our monthly MC (Mission Celebration)
Sunday service facilitated by Pastor Tim W. The morning service was group led as we talked together about being a missional people in the world in which we live. We dialogued about what sort of world we live in, what sorts of mentalities/philosophies permeate our thinking, and what it means to be active believers who have faith in Christ in such a world. I believe we all learned from each other this past Sunday.

Then later that afternoon, a small group of us enjoyed some fun in the sun at the Fairhope beach. We swam a little, played a little soccer,
and ate a lot! Our "conversations on faith" also took place on the beach under the pavilion. It was a special time just sharing together what it means to be the body of Christ, especially in Baldwin County.

God is at move and we are looking for His movement, seeking to be involved in it, and doing all we can to help make disciples while loving our world to Christ.

We would love for our "web family" to grow. Therefore, if you are interested in continuing any of the conversations begun here, please comment, or send us an email.

Grace and peace to everyone,
Pastor Tim (the one with the goatee)
