Dinner on the Grounds . . . Or is it Lunch?

Greetings fellow travelers!

Amazingly enough we have pulled through yet another "San Valentino" (St. Valentine) day again. We hope that the day was filled with pure love for you all. However, we know that "love" is not found in a certain day, but in a certain person- Jesus Christ. So, even more, we hope that ALL your days are filled with His love, for that is WHO HE IS- LOVE!

And now, we hope to extend to you all, yet another aspect of love filled with grace! As we have been taught by the master himself, eating together is not only something people did during biblical times, but it was part of who they were. We are encouraged to "do this in remembrance" of him. In so, we believe that even beyond the actual Eucharist/Communion, our "eating together" can and most likely should even extend to actually dining with one another.

It is amazing to see how open, free, and at times messy people can be when eating with one another! Don't we really just "come as we are", when we eat? In any case, we hope this vulnerable action can be embraced by all those who are able. That is, we would love for all those willing and able to join us at Lighthouse Church of the Nazarene, in Daphne, AL for "Dinner - or as some say- Lunch on the Grounds!" We eat together every 3rd Sunday of the month, which means that this Sunday, February 18Th is the day. We eat directly following the close of our morning worship. Normally, lunch is served around Noon.

Please come and join us for some incredible food, great fellowship, and we assure you some memorable moments.

Grace and peace be with you all.

Pastor Tim W.
