It's Wednesday and a lot has happened since Holy Week here at Lighthouse. So without any further delay, let's recap:
Stations of the Cross Interactive Prayer Labyrinth: It was a bit disappointing in regards to the number of people that came both from the church and guests. However, the few who did come had nothing but good things to say. And for those guests who came, we are glad that we were able to provide such an opportunity. The 15 stations were designed to help us pilgrims journey towards the cross in a unique way and if you missed out this year, be looking forward to participating next year.
Easter Sunday:
Not only was it a beautiful day celebrating the fact that, "He is Risen, He is Risen Indeed!", but our little church plant was blessed with a good number of guest visitors as well. We look forward to seeing them all again and to what God has in store for us all. Our service which was focused on seeking after the Risen King, was filled with singing, reading of the word, preaching of the word, a "Living Cross", and following we had a fun time with an Easter Egg hunt for the children, and a delicious pot-luck lunch for us all.
TNT @ TNU (Talented Nazarene Teens @ Trevecca Nazarene University): This was three tremendous days spent at

our regional university in Nashville, TN. Hundreds of young people gathered from all across the Southeast region to participate in variety of activities that highlighted their talents and gifts. Three days of sports, music, drama, bible quizzing, science/math quizzing, and a numerous of other art exhibits where more than just talent was demonstrated. These young people honored the giver of their gifts- Jesus Christ- as the entire event was focused around being "ignited by God and for God". For more on this event please visit our myspace account.
I guess things have been busy, but don't worry, there is plenty for everyone to be involved in at Lighthouse. So, be looking forward to (and make sure you don't miss):
